	This area provides high spatial resolution imagery collected over interesting landscapes in Himalaya by Earth Observation satellites. It aims at stimulating students and teachers' curiosity to look at these images and discover the features of these landscapes. Case studies given below can be of further guidance and inspiration.

	Image Gallery It is possible to select images derived from various sensor acquisitions, different wavelengths/bands (visible, infrared, microwave) and spatial resolution (ranging from 30 m to 1m pixel size - in some cases). Images can then be displayed for visual comparison and also downloaded. [  ]
